My Sporty Side

Wednesday, October 16, 2013

I can have a some-what sporty side besides being in the world of Fashion, and the arts! I also can't get enough of fitness by exercising almost everyday to get my mind of negative things and to strengthen myself.I also play badminton sometimes and Id love to take Pilates if I find a good class. Im only into gym, cardio an badminton because I also have a big fear of hard balls and can only handle shuttlecocks. I also used to love wall climbing when I was only in Elementary school and I also do lap swimming as a hobby sometimes.  This is the outfit I told you all to stay tuned for last night with the jersey crop top.  It was fun doing a DIY of this because when I bought it, I thought it was in a way too plain, to I decided to add a lot of edge to it which is including the left over studs I sewed on to the neckline.

This is one of my school outfit ideas to look comfy and chic-sporty at the same time. I also decided to carry a shiny and leatherette backpack with it to as some rebel to it.  But of course if your still in high school and wearing this outfit, I would suggest combat boots with this outfit.

I am wearing this jersey crop top from Push Thru Marketing Inc. in Market! Market! for only PHP 350.  My bandana was something I just found in my drawer of scarves.  Its fashion nowadays to wear a bandana as a headband.   They were used as neck scarves during the Old West.

It was fun using the scissors to make a tattered pattern at the back to relive my stress. It was so fun and I always love patterns like these.

Details of the studs I sewed.

I got this backpack from my Aunt in California. She said she bought it for only USD$ 50 and the brand is LeSportsac. Id like to thank her so much for it. Its very edgy and unique and LeSportsac is one of my favorite casual brands.

I am wearing Union Jack jeggings from TOPSHOP that were on sale for only PHP 845. I like how these can last long because I got these way back in January 2013. I am wearing a pair of booties from Glaze in Orange County, California that were only USD$ 41.

Trend Alert: Varsity Number Crop Tops

Tuesday, October 15, 2013
Varsity crop tops has been part of the latest Fall collections these days and they are so far so edgy. They are also very killer cool. I even did a DIY on my very own from Push Thru Marketing inc. I will be wearing it tomorrow with my galaxy leggings if it doesn't clash too much. So stay tuned for my varsity blogger look of the day tomorrow. These are also by far one of my most favorite latest trends or 2013. I like how trends are more edgier these days, unlike two years ago when we constantly had florals and vintage plaid.
These are what I have been spotting these days at almost every retail store, besides Push Thru Marketing inc., Ive also been seeing these at Forever 21, ZARA and Mango. Even though they all look the same to me, I think they will really look good adding to a sporty and edgy outfit. These always look great with leggings or high waisted midi skirts. They also will look great with combat boots and leggings! That will be so fall pretty and speaking of that I am falling in love with fall due to many of my favorite trends being in their collections. So edgy and so sizzlingly cute. These varsity crop tops can give a message like: Too Sexy for Sports or Football seduction!  The two black ones below are from Im pretty sure you can get them at a decent price. The white one (93) that is almost similar to mine is from Forever 21.  It is looking so fine with a pair of leather shorts, but if you wanna show your flat belly, I would suggest wearing tights with your shorts and a buckle belt in order for it not to be too revealing from top to bottom. No need to show skin to be sexy, its more of how you are shaped.(Inspired by one of Marc Jacob's quotes) So work out more and Pilates and yoga are a good way to get in shape or work out regularly in the gym.

The one way below with studs and a tattered back is my own that I did a DIY on all by myself. I hand sewed the studs in front when I found them in my sewing kit. I also tattered the back of it myself with a large scissors and stretched them in between. It was no big deal because I got it for only PHP 350 and I wanted it to be a little bit more of my very own. Its also really to do with any scissors and just hand sew the studs with a blending needle.  I hope you enjoyed this trend report! Rock out your sporty side!

Now being the proud owner of a mini ipad, it was only necessary to get a suitably stylish case for it. Being advised to look on etsy for one that would be unique, reasonably priced and trendy, I found brand FELT-K.
All of their products are made from either felt or leather so it's eco friendly and all that, and handmade. Oooo how authentic. I love the simple design and the natural use of materials and colours, the functionality of it makes it cool and easy. They make everything for gadgets and gizmos for you're macbook, I phone, cards and more. Go take it look, the prices are soooo affordable, it's amazing. However the downside it takes about 5 weeks to arrive, shipping all the way from Hong Kong. Boo boo.
